Tastes of Faiths

A History of Faith Communities and their Foods in San Luis Obispo
Sunday, March 19, 2-4 p.m.

Five faith communities come together to offer a meal of four foods through which they will each tell the history of their faith in San Luis Obispo and the use of food in their tradition. Share foods of and hear the stories of St Stephen’s, The Old Mission, SLO Buddhist Church, White Heron Shanga, SLO Islamic Community, and Jewish Community of SLO County. St. Stephen’s Teens will be selling freshly baked pretzels to benefit The Heifer Project.  Tickets available from each host community for a free-will donation on the day.
